Bio
Born in Ravenna, after humanistic studies (Ravenna, Venice) she moved to
Amsterdam during the eighties, working in the archives of ABC Press photo agency
while studying photography at De Moor, Stichting for education of film and
photography in Amsterdam. Later she moved to Paris (Libèration, Magnum), Milan,
working for press agencies and main italian publishers as photographer and photo
editor (Mondadori, Rizzoli), and Treviso, where she was invited by Fabrica to work
with artist Adam Broomberg on “The fear project”. In 2004 she returned to Ravenna
where she studied photography with professor Guido Guidi at the Accademia di Belle
Arti; she started an experimental space for contemporary photography called
“MyCamera”, curating exhibitions of emerging italian photographers, but not only
(currently her studio). She produces images for designers and collaborates with
institutions conducting photography labs for kids, while working on personal
projects.
